PSA: There are many 120Hz/144Hz 45% NTSC, ~15ms panels in newly announced gaming laptops (eg Asus TUF FA506). Be aware if you're shopping for a new one.

IMO this is a bad move from manufacturers. Many of them don't have the option to upgrade to 72% NTSC (60Hz/144Hz), therefore you'll be stuck using lower quality 120Hz/144Hz panel. Even those high quality 120Hz TN panels (90+% NTSC) used in the old days are better.

Hi
ReplyDeleteThanks for the post. Can you recommend a 15" laptop for moderate gaming and absolutely the best 4K display quality? OLED or IPS both options are ok. Weight should be no more than 2kg and no heating issue.
Thanks
Hi, you may PM/DM me via LTT forum as this is not a place for laptop recommendations. Thank you
