My thoughts on the new Zephyrus G14 (if you're considering it / buying it)

Finally Ryzen 4000 mobile launch Pros: performance is just superb for its size decent cooling (with max fans and lift) small, thin and light not that expensive actually (in thin and light category) decent build quality despite its thinness AX200 instead of Realtek shit around 8 hrs battery life (normal units, some units have issue where Nvidia GPU doesn't idle) decent keyboard, glass touchpad decent speakers Cons: high response times despite 120Hz no webcam poor heat exhaust design due to lifting mechanism (blocking heat) uneven keyboard backlight Intel 660p QLC SSD (may depend on region) must use max fans, otherwise cannot cool well (auto fans too silent) Asus can actually use a full 2060 80W - there is still some headroom for GPU Personally I'm fine with single storage, single soldered RAM (1 free slot) and lack of some ports due to its size. To add on: 3200MHz CL22 is the standard spec, therefore don't complain about the high latency / CAS. De
